Arts Meets Fashion

If you're in the UK you are probably outside basking in all of this sunshine and not reading this post.. but for the rest of the world (Hello!) we are featuring a very special dress today and the lovely lady that got it.

We adore the 1950's because dress makers were so creative with the fabrics, dress patterns, and amazing extra details like hand beading and in this case, screen printing! Take a look..

Absolutely stunning 1950's pink dress with cuffed sleeves and white screen print design. (Yes, each of those polka dots was painted onto the dress!!) This vintage beauty also scored the pink patent leather high heels by designer Charles Jourdan to match. This outfit is heaven!

Many thanks to our lovely model!

If you're looking for a special dress from the 1950's or 60's, or even just a casual summer dress (we've got a whole floor of cute prints, crochet maxi dresses and more..) come visit us! 4 Cheshire Street, London, E2 6EH. And if you can't make it to our shop, stay tuned for our online shop, shipping worldwide and launching soon!
